Art Education improves emotional balance and helps kids become team players. Various fields of the arts like music, theatre, dance and visual arts helps improve decision making, boost self-confidence and make children more self-assured, as they learn about what appeals to them. A notable benefit of art education is that it encourages creativity and engagement in a different way from what is usually taught in the school.
Enhances self-expression, creativity, memory, decision making and confidence. It improves fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Children learn to appreciate artefacts of different cultures.
Students are given a broad understanding of dance as an art form. Participating in dance improves their well-being and promotes fitness for a lifetime. It also gives them joy and helps them to focus on learning. Music also trains the brain for higher orders of thinking.
Yoga helps kids to relax, relieve stress and anxiety, sleep better, improve emotional regulation, empathy and mood. Practicing yoga with kids also teaches them how to be more mindful.
Karate or martial arts helps students understand the five D's - Discipline, Determination, Development, Defence & Dedication.
