The Preschool curriculum underlines the crucial importance of early years in a child's developmental experience. Young children enter preschool with a lot of curiosity, a sense of wonder and an eagerness to learn. To cater to their requirements, PEPS introduces Thinkroom powered by Chrysalis Private Limited, a pioneering organisation which has been taking successful strides towards the vision of 'Awakening the Human Potential in Every Child' for the last 20 years. Inquiry-based learning, constructivist approach, purposeful space for expression and seamless authentic assessment encourage achieving developmental milestones in the cognitive, social-emotional and metacognitive domains of a child.

PRIMARY

At the primary level, the curriculum is presented as an integrated curricular area with multilingualism as a learning resource. Science, Social Science, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Value education, Computers and Art Education focus on reasoning and conceptual learning at every stage with hands-on activities simulating experiences of day-to-day life. Identified as core areas, the learning of these subjects provides scope for conceptual learning, effective use of technology, creative expression, appreciation and teamwork. PEPS encourages its students to be joyful self-directed learners, independent thinkers and positive contributors in their future endeavours.

HIGHER PRIMARY

The higher primary level focuses on the vastness of each core subject in depth. English language learning at this stage stresses on oral and written expression in a creative manner. This aims to develop a sense of appreciation and critical vision for different forms of literature among children. Mathematics learning at this stage aims to consolidate and expand learning through problem solving techniques. Science at this stage branches out into Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It helps children understand and address the issues and concerns of these areas. Social Science branches out into History, Civics and Geography to develop awareness and civic sense.

Computer studies emphasises on acquisition of knowledge and skills in ICT. Students here learn to use common software application and technology to access and utilize information.

Art education here develops creative knowledge and expression through visual art forms. Efforts have been made to provide suggestions for integration of Arts Education with other curricular areas.

SECONDARY

As children grow older, they are exposed to the system as per the norms of the Council. The secondary level offers curriculum which includes various subjects which the child may require in his/her professional life. Students are free to choose from these subjects with some guidelines framed by the board.
