Independence Day – 2023-24 - 15 August 2023

Independence Day celebrated on 15 August with great joy and pomp in the school premises. Pragathi Elite Public School celebrated 77th Independence Day, marking 76 years of freedom. The theme for Independence Day Celebraton – 2023 is “Nation First, Always First,” an integral part of the broader “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” Celebration.To honour our freedom fighters we hoisted the Indian Flag at the School premises.

The National Flag was hoisted by Chief Guest Dr V Ranganath, a retired Tahsildar along with other dignitaries, which was followed by a school parade and cultural programmes.
Sharing information about the Indian flag code, Dr Ranganath briefed about the size of the flag, the proportions of the colour to be mixed for saffron, green and blue colours of the flag, the time and procedures to follow while hoisting a flag.
Children presented a spectacular pyramid show which blew the mind of everybody present there and the dance performances captivated everyone’s attention. Committee member P S Rajarathnam, Academic Director Smt Jayashri Venkatesh, Administrator Sri Karthik V Kashyap, Principal Chaithra V V, staff, parents and children were present.
